Back from another great NRA

The HotSchedules team is back from NRA, and well-rested after the long weekend. We had a lot of great conversations with potential new customers, and had the pleasure of talking with a number of our current customers face-to-face. Unfortunately and fortunately, we spent almost the entire time at NRA in our booth engaging with people, leaving us hardly any time to get out there and explore the show floor!

Our own Ray P.’s session on mobile apps was very well-received, and in fact, mobile was the talk of the show. Restaurateurs from coast to coast are looking for ways to get closer to their customers, and mobile marketing is looking like a promising way to do so. We also noticed a reinforced interest in employee engagement — all the companies we talked to placed a great deal of emphasis on employee engagement as a key benefit of using HotSchedules, and we certainly loved hearing that.

Over the next few months, you’ll see even more from us in terms of mobile apps and best practices in employee engagement (and rest assured, the Android app is high on our list). We’re also looking forward to bringing the above-store regional reports to a mobile app so regional managers can check out their stores’ performance anytime, on-the-go.

In the meantime, keep your feedback coming, and if we didn’t get to see you at NRA, we hope to see you soon!
